Not far from the bustle of lively cosmopolitan Casablanca is my beautiful hometown ‘Mohammedia’, bordered by a stretch of magnificent rugged coastline and shrouded in sweet scented flower gardens. At the centre lies the ancient stone walled Kasbah where, on entering the narrow doorway, you’re greeted by the tantalising aroma of char grilled kebabs, hot steamy couscous, roasted almond pastries and mouth watering honey drenched traditional pancakes all bringing a fusion of sweet, sharp scents never forgotten.

This is where my journey into fine Moroccan cuisine started at eight years of age, when I would help my mother in the kitchen preparing spices and chopping herbs for grand feasts where important guests would attend.

She and my late grandmother bestowed the inspiration for my love of Moroccan cuisine to me, helping me become one of Europe’s most revered Moroccan chefs.

At Exotic Tagine, we pride ourselves on our Moroccan cuisine and we take our time carefully creating spectacular dishes for you, our discerning customer, using only the healthiest, freshest high quality ingredients.
